TOTO CLOTHING DESIGNS

Raised by Cree-Saulteaux grandparents, Bevann cites their influence as playing an important role in their colourful and exciting line of clothing.

They believe the ribbons represent a unique and personal significance that symbolizes dreams, spiritual connections and life. Her grandparents told her to borrow the best of both worlds and use it in a good way.

Described as “cultural clash”, Toto Designs Clothing offers a unique blend of two cultures-Indigenous and European. Together, they create a style, class and richness that is both contemporary and abstract. They choose not to use patterns but instead cut the cloth from their imagination that captures their innovative and creative vision.

Toto Designs is a family of flair and style. Bevann’s daughter Chasta, son Justin and daughter-in-law Robyn provide suggestions and ideas, as well as technical assistance. The sewing of samples are produced and for orders they have the garments professionally tailored for the exact fit.
